Pakistani officials have called upon Iran to exercise influence over the Houthi movement following a significant escalation in regional hostilities. This diplomatic push follows a major offensive on Tuesday, during which Houthi forces targeted an airbase in Khamis Mushait and critical oil infrastructure in neighboring Saudi cities. The coordinated strikes resulted in 73 injuries, marking one of the most severe assaults on Saudi territory since the inception of the ongoing conflict. In response to the aggression, Saudi Arabian forces have initiated retaliatory measures. The incident highlights the intensifying regional tensions and the complex web of international alliances involved in the Yemeni conflict, prompting urgent calls for restraint to prevent further destabilization of the area.
