Libya's Government of National Unity announced the successful dismantling of a sabotage group suspected of orchestrating attacks on energy infrastructure in the western region. The Ministry of Defense conducted an operation resulting in the detention of five individuals, including both Libyan nationals and foreign citizens. These suspects are accused of utilizing suicide drones to strike facilities located in Tripoli and Zawiya. Officials confirmed that the intervention prevented further planned strikes, specifically targeting a power plant south of the capital, as well as various military and political figures. Authorities are currently expanding their investigation to uncover potential accomplices and identify the organizers or financiers behind these subversive activities.
