Authorities in Lahan, Siraha, apprehended a 41-year-old driver on Wednesday morning following the discovery of illegal substances in his vehicle. Acting on intelligence, a collaborative team comprising members of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force intercepted a Scorpio SUV, registered as Sa 1 Cha 1414, on Thadi Road. A thorough search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of 123 bottles of Corex-C, each containing 100ml of the suspected narcotic. The suspect, identified as Bijay Kumar Bisuke from Lahan Municipality-10, was taken into custody by law enforcement officials. The operation was executed by two specialized mobile units led by assistant sub-inspectors, as confirmed by SP Suman Jung Thapa of the Armed Police Force in Siraha.
