Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the government's fuel subsidy initiative will remain in operation, supported by a budget allocation of Rs75 billion. During a ceremony honoring officials for the successful implementation of the project, the Prime Minister noted that the program has successfully reached over 10 million direct beneficiaries. He commended the collaborative work between federal and provincial authorities, as well as relevant institutions, in overcoming initial planning obstacles to ensure the scheme's transparent delivery. In recognition of these efforts, the Prime Minister announced a national award for Information and Technology Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and confirmed that additional shields will be presented to other dedicated government staff members who contributed to the project's progress.
