Noor Ali Hussain Alfardan, the founder of Noudar Jewels, has introduced a unique jewellery line that interprets traditional henna designs through diamond-encrusted, removable pieces. Showcased at the Doha Jewellery Exhibition 2026, these creations reflect a fusion of Islamic and Arabic cultural aesthetics with contemporary craftsmanship, all produced within Qatar. The inspiration for this collection stems from Alfardan’s childhood interest in henna art. Finding the maintenance and longevity of traditional henna application challenging, she sought to replicate the intricate patterns using precious materials. Her signature collection serves as a permanent alternative to the temporary nature of botanical henna, allowing wearers to display elaborate, heritage-inspired designs through high-end jewellery. This initiative highlights the evolution of regional customs into modern luxury accessories while maintaining a connection to local traditions.
