The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia has issued a public advisory urging citizens and residents to prioritize safety during an upcoming period of unstable weather. From Wednesday through Monday, various parts of the Kingdom are expected to experience thunderstorms. Authorities have explicitly instructed the public to avoid valleys, flood-prone areas, and swimming in accumulated rainwater. Residents are encouraged to monitor official updates and follow safety guidelines disseminated via media channels. According to the National Center for Meteorology, the Makkah region faces potential moderate to heavy rainfall, which could lead to flooding, hail, and dust-stirring winds. Specific areas such as Taif, Maysan, and Adham are under alert, while other districts anticipate lighter precipitation. Similar weather patterns are also projected for the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions.
