The 38th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Isfahan concluded on Thursday, with the film “Shootinga” securing several major honors. Directed by Arash Moayerian, the production received the Golden Butterfly for best director, alongside accolades for cinematography, visual effects, and best children’s film. Other notable winners included “Guardians of the Sun,” which took home the prize for best animated feature, and “Bride of the Spring,” recognized as the best teenage film. The jury did not issue an award for best screenplay this year. Additionally, various honors were presented for acting, television series, and special thematic categories. This long-running Iranian festival serves as a vital platform for filmmakers to showcase works tailored to the perspectives and interests of younger audiences, highlighting excellence in both technical craft and storytelling.
