A 62-year-old woman lost her life on October 1 after a collision involving a bicycle and a trailer in Singapore's Defu industrial estate. Authorities were notified of the incident at the intersection of Defu Avenue 1 and Defu Lane 7 at approximately 10:10 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency responders from the Singapore Civil Defence Force declared the cyclist dead at the scene. Reports indicate that the victim was dragged for roughly 70 meters following the impact. Local media observed police cordoning off the area, where a bicycle remained on the road alongside visible drag marks. A blue police tent was positioned near the site of the fatality. The 43-year-old driver of the trailer reportedly departed from the location after the accident occurred. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding this fatal traffic incident are currently ongoing.
