Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi has stated that his government is prepared to contribute up to 2,000 soldiers to a potential peacekeeping or security force in Gaza. Speaking during the MEAD conference, Abdullahi clarified that while Somaliland is not actively volunteering its military personnel, the administration would consider such a request if formally approached by relevant international parties. This offer highlights the willingness of the self-declared state to participate in regional security efforts, provided there is a clear mandate and an official invitation to do so.
