The Saudi Arabian government has officially endorsed the recent resolution passed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors concerning Syria. This decision follows the successful conclusion of the Board's review regarding the implementation of nuclear safeguards within the country. Riyadh highlighted that this development is a result of Syria's improved cooperation with the international nuclear watchdog. The resolution was introduced by a coalition including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco, achieving full consensus among the Board members. In an official statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that this agreement underscores a collective commitment to positive progress in the Syrian file. Furthermore, the Kingdom reiterated its ongoing support for Syria and for international initiatives aimed at stabilizing the situation through diplomatic and procedural cooperation.
