On Friday night, law enforcement officials in Seoul conducted a series of inspections across popular nightlife areas, including Gangnam, Seocho, and Yongsan, to detect illicit drug activity ahead of Halloween. This joint operation involved police, fire departments, and local municipal authorities targeting eight specific clubs. According to a statement released on Saturday, no drug-related infractions were identified during the sweep. These inspections are part of a broader, ongoing initiative launched in August to combat narcotics in entertainment districts. The special crackdown aims to ensure public safety during high-traffic periods by monitoring venues such as clubs and other entertainment establishments for illegal substance use or distribution.
