A Sri Lankan national employed as a domestic driver in Kuwait has been taken into custody for suspected drug trafficking. According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, the individual allegedly utilized his professional role to distribute crystal methamphetamine while transporting his employer’s family. The arrest occurred in the Ardiya district following a probe by the Farwaniya Governorate Criminal Investigation Department, which utilized surveillance footage to identify the illicit activities. Upon intercepting the suspect, law enforcement officials recovered bags of crystal methamphetamine. A subsequent search of the driver's living quarters, conducted with the assistance of his employer, resulted in the seizure of approximately 469.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a small quantity of marijuana, and a digital scale used for weighing narcotics.
