The Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported a marginal decline in the value of the national currency against the US Dollar on Wednesday. Official data indicates that the selling price for the American currency reached 333.28 rupees, rising from the previous day's figure of 332.81 rupees. Simultaneously, the buying rate for the US Dollar saw an upward adjustment, moving from 323.77 rupees to 324.28 rupees. Beyond the fluctuations involving the US Dollar, the Sri Lankan Rupee also demonstrated minor variations in its exchange value when measured against a broader selection of international currencies, including those from the Gulf region.
