On September 29, 2026, the industry publication Textile Focus celebrated its tenth anniversary at the Radisson Blu hotel. The event also served as the official launch platform for Sustainable Business Connect. Zakaria Taher, the Minister of Housing and Public Works, presided over the ceremony as the chief guest. The gathering brought together key representatives from Bangladesh's garment and textile sectors, including leadership from the BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMA, and the Bangladesh Employers’ Federation. Other notable attendees included officials from the Bangladesh Packaging and Accessories Manufacturers and Exporters Association. The event highlighted the publication's long-standing role in the industry and introduced a new framework aimed at fostering sustainable business practices within the national textile and garment manufacturing landscape.
