This November, The Hive Studios in Kennedy Town will present a new experimental theatrical performance titled The Last Two Cannibals on Cannibal Island. The narrative centers on the final two inhabitants of a remote island who encounter one another and must navigate a complex relationship defined by mistrust, negotiation, and the struggle to overcome their primal instincts. The arrival of an unforeseen visitor introduces a new dynamic, challenging the characters to confront their established behaviors. Beyond the central plot, the production explores themes such as the influence of artistic expression, the experience of grief, and the burden of historical traditions. The show incorporates live musical elements and dramatic confrontations to examine the intersection of destiny and optimism within a confined setting.
