Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has indicated a willingness to halt military engagements along current battle lines to facilitate a rapid conclusion to the ongoing conflict. During a recent interview with ABC News, the leader emphasized that while he is open to a ceasefire agreement, he remains steadfast in his refusal to surrender any portion of Ukrainian land, specifically dismissing suggestions that the nation should relinquish 25 percent of its territory. Furthermore, Zelenskyy voiced concerns regarding the diminishing levels of military support from the United States. He highlighted that recent aid shipments have been insufficient, noting that the country has only obtained 24 interceptor missiles for its Patriot air defense systems, which underscores the challenges currently facing Ukraine's defensive capabilities.
