The United States military has withdrawn its entire fleet of B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom, returning the aircraft to domestic bases. This decision follows a security-related incident near the facility that is currently under investigation by British counter-terrorism authorities. A Pentagon representative confirmed the redeployment, noting that operational security protocols restricted the disclosure of these movements while they were occurring. Approximately twelve bombers had been stationed at the site, where they supported various military missions, including operations involving Iran. Despite the departure from the British base, the Pentagon emphasized that its bomber capabilities remain fully functional and can be deployed directly from the United States mainland to conduct necessary operations.
