United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio has instructed the Iranian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, to exit the country following a breakdown in diplomatic discussions. According to reports confirmed by a US official, the American mission to the United Nations notified their Iranian counterparts on Monday evening that the delegation was required to leave New York immediately. Officials stated that the presence of the Iranian representatives was no longer necessary as the UN General Assembly had concluded. Consequently, the delegation departed on a flight to Doha early Tuesday morning. While some sources indicated that Araghchi had already planned a return to Tehran for Monday night, the directive underscored a formal request for their departure after negotiations failed to progress.
