According to NK News, these deceptive visuals were constructed by modifying authentic photographs previously released by South Korean media organizations, such as Yonhap News Agency. The original source material depicted North Korean 122 mm self-propelled artillery units. Experts suggest that these altered images and videos are not genuine representations of current events, but rather digital fabrications designed to mislead viewers. The circulation of this manipulated content highlights growing concerns regarding the use of AI to create realistic but false depictions of regional security tensions.
