At least seven civilians were killed and four others sustained injuries following an armed assault on a bus in Syria's Homs province on Wednesday. According to the state-run Sana news agency, the vehicle was targeted while crossing the Masyaf Bridge as employees were returning home from work. Local authorities confirmed that all victims were civilian staff members of a private company. Emergency services transported the wounded to nearby medical facilities in Homs, while security forces secured the site to collect evidence and initiate an investigation. Officials have condemned the incident, describing it as a deliberate effort to disrupt regional stability and compromise the security measures currently in place across the governorate. Efforts are underway to identify the attackers and ensure they are held accountable for the violence.
