Israeli President Isaac Herzog has announced plans to award medals for civilian heroism to four individuals who intervened during a dangerous incident on a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv. The passengers, identified as Yaniv Hayoun, Dr. Shota Musayev, Tzvika Mans, and Asaf Rejwan, successfully neutralized a co-pilot who had allegedly attacked the captain and attempted to cause the aircraft to crash. Following this event, the Israeli Prime Minister's office confirmed that security protocols for pilots entering the country will be significantly strengthened. The President personally contacted the four men to express his gratitude for their decisive actions, which were instrumental in preventing a potential aviation disaster.
