Bangladesh and India have formally declared their intention to deepen collaborative efforts in the defence sector. This commitment was highlighted during a meeting between the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, and the Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam. Both nations emphasized the importance of working in tandem to preserve stability across the region while addressing shared international security concerns. This diplomatic engagement underscores the ongoing strategic partnership between the two countries as they seek to enhance their military cooperation and coordinate responses to evolving global challenges.
