The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced this Wednesday in Beijing, marking a significant step in China's commitment to liberalizing its service sector as the 15th Five-Year Plan begins. Held at the historic Shougang Park, the event is scheduled to continue until September 13. This year's edition has attracted representatives from 90 different countries, regions, and international bodies. More than 1,800 enterprises are participating in the exhibition, including 473 companies listed on the Fortune Global 500, highlighting the event's role as a major platform for global industrial leaders to showcase innovation and foster international trade partnerships.
