Three prominent figures from the Cockroach Janta Party, namely Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka, were taken into custody by law enforcement officials on Saturday. The detention occurred directly inside their aircraft shortly after landing in Delhi at approximately 10:20 am. The group had traveled from Mumbai to participate in a planned youth demonstration calling for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Footage shared on social media by the political campaign depicts officers intercepting the individuals before they could exit the plane. Representatives for the party have characterized the police action as a deliberate effort to prevent their members from reaching the demonstration site and to disrupt their peaceful protest activities.
