Abhijeet Dipke, an activist representing the Cockroach Janta Party, has declared his intention to proceed with the 'Jantar Mantar 2.0' demonstration in New Delhi. Departing from Mumbai, Dipke stated he is prepared for potential incarceration, dismissing intimidation tactics regarding the use of strict legal measures like the NSA or UAPA. His protest centers on allegations concerning the removal of voters from electoral rolls. Dipke maintains that his primary objective is to secure the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, arguing that current administrative actions undermine democratic participation. Despite the threat of arrest, the activist emphasized that he remains committed to his cause, asserting that he will continue to challenge the authorities to protect the voting rights of citizens.
