Daniya Yespayeva, the Deputy Chair of the Kurultai, recently addressed inquiries regarding the compensation packages for its members. During a press briefing, she clarified that the monthly earnings for deputies are determined by their professional tenure. Currently, these salaries fluctuate between 600,000 and 1 million tenge, with the higher end of the scale reserved for those possessing significant work experience. The discussion also touched upon previous financial disclosures made by former Senate and Mazhilis members in early 2026. It was noted that those specific public filings focused on supplementary taxable income, such as dividends, interest, and property sales, rather than the base salaries of the lawmakers or their spouses.
