A fatal shooting took place at the Nong Pla Lai Subdistrict Municipality Kindergarten in Chon Buri on the morning of September 9. Local authorities, including Bang Lamung police and emergency responders, arrived at the scene around 11 a.m. following reports of the incident. While a woman was killed inside the school canteen, all 44 students present were successfully evacuated without injury, though many were left distressed by the event. Chon Buri Governor Naris Niramaiwong visited the site as officials secured the premises. Parents were notified to collect their children, and the educational facility has been temporarily shut down while investigations proceed.
