A total of five flights departing from Dhaka for Riyadh were grounded by Sunday morning due to the temporary closure of King Khalid International Airport. The suspension of operations follows a security incident involving a Houthi attack on the Saudi facility, which resulted in significant casualties. Affected services include multiple flights operated by Saudia Airlines, specifically numbers SV 804, SV 805, SV 806, SV 807, RX 763, and RX 764. Additionally, Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirmed the cancellation of flight BG 339, while a US-Bangla Airlines service was also unable to complete its scheduled journey on Saturday. The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh verified that these disruptions were a direct consequence of the airport's closure in the Saudi capital.
