A Flydubai aircraft traveling from the United Arab Emirates to Tel Aviv was forced to change its route and land in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. According to reports from an Israeli official, the diversion occurred after a physical confrontation broke out between the pilots. Flightradar24 data indicated that the Boeing 737, carrying approximately 150 Israeli passengers, transmitted emergency signals while flying over Jordan. Prior to the emergency alerts, the aircraft experienced a rapid descent of nearly 14,000 feet within a half-minute timeframe. The plane eventually landed safely at Tabuk airport in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The flight had initially signaled a general emergency, followed by a code suggesting potential unlawful interference, before reverting to the original emergency status as it approached the Saudi landing site.
