Authorities in Dhaka recovered the remains of KM Tahsin Sauri, a 28-year-old retired flight lieutenant from the Bangladesh Air Force, from the Turag River on Wednesday afternoon. The recovery occurred near Rajabari Ghat following a tip received via the national emergency hotline. Inspector Firoz Uddin of the Tongi River Police confirmed that the individual had been reported missing just one day prior. Following the discovery, law enforcement officials conducted an initial inquest at the scene before transporting the body to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue. A formal autopsy is currently pending to determine the precise circumstances and cause of the former officer's death. Police investigations into the incident remain ongoing as they await the medical examiner's findings.
