A senior official from the Development Bureau has stated that a planned twin-tower development on the Hung Hom waterfront will not obscure the view of the Lion Rock ridgeline. Speaking on an RTHK radio broadcast, the Permanent Secretary for Development explained that the mountain remains visible from various perspectives despite the scale of the project. The proposed construction, which includes residential and commercial spaces as well as yachting facilities, is intended to stimulate urban regeneration and enhance local community engagement. According to documentation provided to the Legislative Council, the two buildings are slated to reach heights of 236 metres and 184 metres respectively. Authorities maintain that the project aligns with broader urban planning goals while preserving the city's visual connection to its natural landscape.
