Following a violent incident, Flydubai pilot Smit Machchhar managed to unlock the cockpit door and identify his assailant despite sustaining serious injuries. Passengers on board the aircraft, including an Israeli dentist named Shota Musayev, provided immediate medical aid to the pilot. Their intervention was critical in stabilizing Machchhar's condition until he could be transported to a medical facility in Saudi Arabia for further treatment. The pilot's actions in identifying the attacker occurred while he was actively suffering from his wounds.
