During a recent youth-focused event held alongside the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Abu Dhabi, experts highlighted how criminals utilize sophisticated technology to mimic familiar voices to solicit fraudulent financial transfers. The session, hosted by the Ministry of Justice Youth Council, aimed to equip young individuals with the knowledge to identify and counter online scams, digital drug promotion, and other emerging cybercrimes. By bringing together legal professionals, prosecutors, and youth representatives, the discussion emphasized the critical role that younger citizens play in recognizing and reporting malicious digital activities that leverage advanced AI tools to deceive victims.
