During the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors meeting in Vienna, Iranian representatives stated that their nuclear program remains intact despite recent attacks and scientist assassinations. The delegation emphasized that Iran's nuclear progress is built upon domestic knowledge, human capital, and national determination rather than just physical infrastructure. While acknowledging that foreign aggression in 2025 and 2026 caused damage to certain facilities and hindered access to specific technologies, the statement maintained that scientific expertise is inherently sustainable and transgenerational. Iran highlighted that its nuclear advancements support various peaceful sectors, including agriculture, food preservation, environmental protection, and medical radioisotope production. The government maintains that these indigenous capabilities are mature and essential for meeting national requirements, asserting that no external force can dismantle the foundational scientific progress achieved by the country's specialized workforce.
