Jorargonj Bouddha High School in Mirsarai, Chattogram, has effectively transitioned to solar energy to meet its daily electricity requirements. By installing a 12-kilowatt solar panel system across two of its buildings three years ago, the institution now powers over 100 fans, 120 lights, multiple computers, and an air conditioning unit for its 2,000 students. This transition has significantly mitigated the operational disruptions previously caused by frequent power outages. Furthermore, the school has reported a substantial reduction in its monthly utility expenses, as the solar infrastructure now covers nearly all of its electrical needs. This initiative demonstrates a practical application of renewable energy in an educational setting, ensuring a more stable learning environment for the student body.
