A recent survey conducted by Tangere between September 30 and October 3 indicates that former Vice President Leni Robredo and Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte are currently the frontrunners for the 2028 presidential race under varying scenarios. In a field including Senator Raffy Tulfo, Robredo secured 29 percent of the support. Conversely, in a scenario excluding both Robredo and Tulfo, Sebastian Duterte emerged as the leader with 29 percent. When both were included in the list, Duterte followed Robredo with 22 percent, while Senator Bong Go and Tulfo trailed with 18 percent and 14 percent, respectively. These findings were published shortly after the mayor's appearance at the Senate regarding the impeachment proceedings involving his sister, Vice President Sara Duterte, highlighting a shifting and unpredictable political landscape among the electorate.
