LOT Polish Airlines has officially inaugurated a direct flight route connecting Warsaw and Bangkok to bolster tourism from Central Europe to Thailand. The inaugural flight arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on October 8, utilizing a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 252 passengers. The flight duration is approximately ten hours and twenty minutes. Initially, the airline will operate three flights per week, with plans to expand to five weekly services starting October 26 to accommodate the winter travel season. This initiative is backed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, which aims to attract a higher volume of visitors from Poland and neighboring regions. By establishing this non-stop connection, officials hope to simplify travel logistics and strengthen tourism ties between the two nations as the year-end holiday period approaches.
