The Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) has launched a new hologram system at the satellite building of Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1. This technological implementation aims to provide arriving international passengers with clear guidance and information regarding entry procedures. According to AKPS deputy director-general for management, Ismail Mokhtar, the initiative is designed to streamline the arrival process by utilizing digital tools to improve accessibility for travellers. The project draws inspiration from a similar installation at the Setia Perkasa Complex, where a hologram of Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail was previously deployed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. This move reflects the agency's broader strategy to integrate advanced technology into border management operations to better serve the public.
