During the ninth World Investment Forum held in Doha, Qatari officials emphasized the importance of stabilizing the tourism sector by safeguarding employment and supporting local enterprises. Qatar Tourism Chairman Saad bin Ali al-Kharji highlighted that maintaining business continuity and retaining skilled personnel remain central to the nation's strategy for navigating regional disruptions. According to al-Kharji, the primary objective during recent challenging periods has been to prevent the loss of experienced staff, as a reduction in trained human capital could significantly hinder the industry's long-term recovery and service standards. By focusing on these internal pillars, Qatar aims to reinforce its status as a premier global travel destination while ensuring that the private sector remains resilient against external economic pressures.
