A 28-year-old woman from Penang, Tan Kah Ming, has died in Perth, Australia, following a suspected assault by her 38-year-old partner, Younis Qambari. Emergency services discovered Tan unresponsive at a residence on August 26, and she subsequently passed away in the hospital. Authorities allege that Qambari inflicted severe injuries upon the victim in the days leading up to her discovery. Consequently, he has been formally charged with murder. Tan is survived by three young children, aged three, five, and seven, who are currently under the care of her sister, Tan Kah Hooi. A crowdfunding campaign has been established via GoFundMe to provide financial assistance for the children and support the family during this period of bereavement. The victim was remembered by her community for her dedication and kindness.
