The 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has entered its fourth day in Kathmandu. Current activities include the submission of candidate objections and preparations for an upcoming closed session, which will focus on report endorsements and finalizing election procedures. Voting is set to commence tomorrow. To attract support from delegates, candidates are employing unconventional promotional methods, ranging from the use of robots to masks and chimpanzee figures. This convention aims to elect 24 party officials, including the president, senior vice president, multiple vice presidents, general secretaries, and joint general secretaries. According to the party constitution, the president holds the authority to nominate additional joint general secretaries and a treasurer following the election process.
