The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet regarding the November 2025 car bombing near Delhi's Red Fort, which resulted in 11 fatalities and 29 injuries. Investigators recovered extremist manuals, including guides on explosives and jihadist ideology, allegedly used by a revived Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind terror cell. The agency identified Umer Un Nabi, who died in the explosion, as the mastermind behind the operation. Evidence indicates the vehicle was utilized as an improvised explosive device, with forensic analysis confirming the presence of TATP and ammonium nitrate. According to the NIA, the group coordinated through encrypted messaging platforms to radicalize recruits, secure funding, and procure weapons. While proceedings against Nabi have ceased due to his death, the investigation highlights a broader conspiracy involving the revival of dormant terror modules and the dissemination of propaganda to justify armed violence.
