Prime Minister Tarique Rahman departed from Dhaka on Tuesday morning via a military flight to visit Durga Puja venues across Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Chattogram. This tour coincides with Maha Navami, the ninth day of the significant Hindu religious celebration. The Prime Minister's itinerary includes stops at the Radha Gobinda Temple in Rangpur and the Dharmasabha Temple in Rajshahi to engage with the local community. Following these visits, he is scheduled to attend a public gathering at the Haji Muhammad Mohsin playground. The Prime Minister is expected to conclude his regional tour and return to the capital city by the end of the day. Press Secretary AAM Saleh Shibly confirmed the travel details, noting that the journey began at 9:00 am from Tejgaon Airport.
