The Qatar Red Crescent Society, backed by the Qatar Fund for Development and in partnership with BRAC International, is currently operating a healthcare initiative for Rohingya refugees residing in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char. This ongoing project, which has been active for five months, focuses on improving medical access at Camp 13. Services provided include general consultations, maternal and child health support, chronic disease management, and mental health assistance. The program also emphasizes community health education and the referral of patients to specialized facilities when necessary. Priority is given to children under five and women of reproductive age to address their specific health requirements. This humanitarian effort is scheduled to continue until the end of September 2026.
