Nenad Popović, Serbia's Minister for International Economic Cooperation, recently discussed the potential for establishing a free trade agreement between his nation and Uzbekistan. Highlighting the complementary nature of both economies, the Minister noted that the strong rapport between the two countries' leaders provides a solid foundation for enhancing bilateral ties. The upcoming official visit by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Serbia is expected to further strengthen these relations. Key areas identified for future collaboration include digitalization, artificial intelligence, robotics, agriculture, and the textile industry. Officials believe that the formal agreements resulting from this high-level engagement will serve as a significant catalyst for expanding economic cooperation, investment, and trade opportunities between the two nations.
