Korea Railroad Corp. has successfully sold 1.8 million train tickets for the upcoming Chuseok holiday period. Reservations, which opened on September 3, reached an 84 percent booking rate over the course of seven days. This performance marks a notable increase compared to the 62.7 percent rate observed during the same period last year. Furthermore, the current figures surpass the average booking rates of approximately 60 percent recorded during major holiday seasons over the previous three years. The Chuseok festival, a significant traditional holiday in South Korea, is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 27 this year.
