A South Korean container ship has successfully arrived at the British port of Felixstowe, signifying the completion of the first half of its experimental voyage across the Arctic. The Panstar Acro, a vessel with a capacity of 2,758 TEU, reached the United Kingdom on Saturday morning, exactly 21 days after its departure from the port of Busan on August 22. This mission, overseen by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, aims to evaluate the viability of utilizing the Arctic passage to connect the eastern and western regions of Eurasia. By navigating this historically inaccessible route, the expedition seeks to determine the potential for future commercial shipping operations through these northern waters.
