Authorities in Sri Lanka are investigating a deadly grenade attack that claimed the lives of two young brothers in Dehiwala. The incident took place early yesterday morning on Sirisangabo Road when an unidentified individual arrived by three-wheeler and threw an explosive device into the home after the door was opened. The victims, aged 17 and 11, succumbed to their injuries, while their 55-year-old father remains hospitalized with leg wounds. Investigators are currently exploring the possibility that the perpetrators intended to strike a different property, as the family had no prior criminal record or known disputes. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspect involved in this lethal assault.
