According to data released by the Ministry of Finance, Taiwan achieved a historic peak in export performance during August, reaching a total value of US$82.4 billion. This significant growth is primarily attributed to robust international demand for advanced technologies, specifically artificial intelligence, cloud-based services, and high-performance computing hardware. Additionally, the ministry noted that an upward trend in the pricing of electronic components contributed to the record-breaking figures. This surge underscores the island's critical role in the global semiconductor and tech supply chain as industries continue to prioritize digital infrastructure and AI development.
