The second World of Arts festival recently concluded in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, showcasing a diverse four-day program of Russian cultural events. Supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture and various Uzbek foundations, the festival featured ballet performances, opera galas, and educational masterclasses. A highlight of the event was an exhibition of works by Zurab Tsereteli at the Uzbekistan Gallery of Fine Arts, which will continue for two months. The festival also commemorated the 90th anniversary of director Stanislav Govorukhin through a dedicated Cinema Day. Performances included the Khakass dance ensemble and students from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Organizers emphasized the success of the collaboration between Russian and Uzbek cultural institutions in fostering artistic exchange and professional development.
